PLATEAU STATE GOVERNMENT DEMANDS RETRACTION AND APOLOGY FROM PUNCH NEWSPAPER AND SAHARA REPORTERS

The Plateau State Government has condemned in strong terms the false and misleading reports published by The Punch and Sahara Reporters alleging a bomb blast in the state.

The government and people of the state are deeply saddened by the fake and malicious story by Punch Newspaper and Sahara reporters that there was a bomb explosion at Jos Terminus Market on Tuesday.

The Government views this unprofessional, reckless and irresponsible journalism as a deliberate attempt to create panic, instill fear, and tarnish the image of Plateau State.

 The Punch Newspaper and Sahara Reporters should Immediately retract the false report of a bomb blast in Jos and Issue a formal apology to the Government and people of Plateau State.

 

The two media organisations must apologise to the government and people of Plateau State for writing a false report with the intention of deceiving the world on what never happened. The story must be published in the Punch Newspaper and Sahara reporters platform.

 

The government views the fake report as a deliberate attempt to cause panic and/or puncture the hard-earned peace enjoyed in the state as result of good leadership of our dear leader and the time is now redeemer of Plateau State His Excellency Governor Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang.

May your victory over the polls bring positive change and unity, where our collective zeal towards the development of our community Za'ang will remain paramount and accomplished at  your tenure in office. And as we remain resolute as one indivisible people, may GOD Almighty in His infinite mercy continue to bless, protect and guide you in wisdom to continue support and aide our community in achieving your cardinal points of agenda.

Hon. Victor Balang PDP aspirant for Zawan 'A' Ward on behalf of his campaign team and community, welcomes Hon. The campaign train is to take place GOD's will by 10:00am at the Zawan Youth Club Anguldi Zawan.

In his address during his door to door and street to streets campaigns tour at Dorowa, Anguldi, Dati, Challang sanyi and Zalsa football tournament finals at Zawan 'A', in an invition by the St John and St. Vincent the Paul of St Williams Catholic Church, he emphasized the need to come out in mass to support and vote PDP (2/2); and also said the aspiring PDP flag bearer Chairman Jos-South, Hon. Silas Patrick DUNG and his deputy Ngo Kachollom Lucy Michael who also hails from Zawan community, has many advantages to tap from their wealth of experience in leadership, equity, justice, humility and resealiance to ensure good governance in line with confidence to the Barr.
